This Week's Founders: Kevin & Maggie Pahl
All Aboard for this week’s feature highlighting the entrepreneurs and innovators who drive The Platform at Greer.
This week, we’re getting on board with Kevin & Maggie Pahl of Evergreen Traditions. Kevin & Maggie have been around in The Platform ecosystem for a while, and participated in Cohort 2 all the way back in March 2021.
Evergreen Traditions is as the name implies; a business centered around Christmas tree sale. As Kevin states on their website: “it’s tough to pass up a chance for him and his family to be in the holiday spirit year around.” However, unlike traditional Christmas tree lots, Kevin, Maggie and crew have been able to elevate things to a whole other level. Evergreen Traditions helps to provide a fun night out for families looking to make shopping for a Christmas tree not just a transaction but an experience.
How do they go about doing this? With access to the local Arran Farm in Easley, Evergreen Traditions hosts their Christmas at the Farm two weekend event every year. This year, the event takes place right after Thanksgiving from November 29 – December 1 and then again from December 7 – 8 from 10 AM – 3PM. It includes a multitude of local vendors, yard games and activities, a photo booth, a playground area, live music, and more.
When Kevin & Maggie initially came to The Platform, Evergreen Traditions was just an idea. Through the Bootcamp program, they were able to flesh out their ideas and make them a reality. Do you have a business venture you’re trying to start or maybe you’re looking to expand your current business?
